Scared of Santa

Last weekend we took Ben and Bailey to east breakfast with Santa. We decided to get the pictures done first so they could develop while we ate. Bailey went first and she was really reluctant to go. The whole time they were posing her I'm sure the only thing she was thinking about was getting that candy cane and getting out of there. LOL. Ben on the other hand wanted no part of the Big man. She did better than I thought she would do but she looks really scared. I promise I'm not a bad mom and forced her to do this...she really wanted a candy cane!!!!

We had breakfast and the whole time we were eating Ben kept saying he wanted a candy cane too. I told him that in order to get one he had to ask Santa for one. LOL. Ok..call me a bad mom now. Anyway, we went back in and this time we had no time to wait for a professional picture so we took one our self. Can you tell that he thought posing with Santa was worth a candy cane?
I'm sure he'll show these pictures to his children when he gets older.

Feelin the pain

So I've always thought of myself as someone with a high pain tolerance but this hand surgery is getting the best of me. I think I may be doing too much? I just keep thinking about all the things I need to be doing. UGH!! Better stop and take a break before I really do some damage.

I went to therapy yesterday and they took off the huge bandage so now I can drive. Not driving much but it's nice to know I can if I need to. As I was sitting there listening to the therapist we got to talking about what I do while I'm a SAHM. I told her I sew and she wanted to know if I can embroider. WOW!!! the break that I needed. My first potential business customer. It's funny how some things just turn up when you least expect it. She wants some custom logo's done so maybe this is the break I was waiting for. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Peer Pressure

It has been know to cause many people lot of trouble. Once again I am proving that when two friends (Tiffany & Raenita) challenge me to create a blog I will give in to peer pressure. Thanks Girls but at least I should not get in trouble this time. Keep your fingers crossed.

Yesterday I had hand surgery and was feeling all the pain. The drugs did not work that well and I felt a lot of pain during the surgery. I was so looking forward to la la land. Ha Ha.. Now I'm taking pain killers and la la land has set in.
